THE SPRING GOLF SEASON IS HERE. We opened our Cosmic Driving Range spring swing with an amazing event at the USKids Golf Colonial Williamsburg Classic at the beautiful Golden Horseshoe Golf Club in Williamsburg VA.
The daytime competition took place over Saturday and Sunday. We provided the Friday opening night entertainment complete with a driving range full of scoring targets, 9 holes of cosmic putting, a cosmic sand shot, triple chip showdown and our super new ‘lights out’ target challenge.
What was amazing about the evening was how turned on everyone was to the bright glow and sound of the targets. We usually put up a mountain of photos from events, but to be honest, this one had so many players and fans, we had no time. That’s a good problem to have.
The evening was a fun, no pressure opportunity for the kids and parents to simply knock around some glow in the dark balls and play a series of games. We surprised everyone with the debut of our interactive golf cart – The Cosmic Picker. We placed several targets on the back of the picker and players went nuts. We even parked it out at 50 yds and listened as players went nuts dinging the cart. Thank you Drew for your bravery driving the cart around.
